But the big difference between Hard Rock and some of the other theme restaurants in town is its smokehouse selection, including barbecue ribs, chicken, beef and pork. The menu is about one would expect from a rock-themed restaurant, from Elvis’ favorite Tupelo Chicken “Love Me” Tenders to the Mamas and the Papas-inspired California Dreaming Burger topped with cucumbers, guacamole, lettuce, tomato and Monterey Jack cheese. Featuring live bands four nights a week during the summer months, Hard Rock holds true to its rock ‘n roll roots and continues to draw crowds. This once-hip international chain, famous for its must-have T-shirts in the 1980s, still manages to stay relevant three decades later with a solid lineup of food, mood and music.
